Colorado Springs Engagement | The Bluffs | Chelsea and Aaron

Colorado Springs Engagement, The Bluffs

At the last minute we decided to change locations for Chelsea and Aaron.  Aaron remembered this place he used to play at as a kid with his friends, The bluffs they called it.   The neighborhood kids would hike a few miles in to these flat lands and in my opinion scary drop offs haha…I’m thinking maybe the moms didn’t know just how dangerous some of the spot were lol.  But they would play capture the flag and then hike back home for dinner.  That to me sounds like the best childhood with some amazing memories.  So it made it even more special to have Chelsea and Aaron here for their engagement photos.   We took their friends family’s ATV (Alan, THANK you for being so incredible that day and helping us) and headed to these beautiful bluffs that overlook Colorado Springs.  The terrain reminded me of Moab with its soft golden tones.  Literally took my breath away and it felt like I was getting to photograph Colorado Springs best kept secret.  I’m actually really thankful how hard it was to get to this spot.  It seems every place in Colorado becomes so overrun that its hard to find places for quiet anymore.  The only time I saw anyone was when we were hiking back and a family was walking their goats….UMMMMM say what!?!  Haha…Chelsea and Aaron wanted a quick photo with Cinnamon the goat.  Overall, I’d say this session was one of my absolute favorites to date.  I loved how unique and adventurous this one felt.  Bring me ALL the adventure couples…yes, please.  I’d love to share a few of my favorites.  Chelsea and Aaron, I can not wait for your beautiful wedding this year!
